Sifnos SummerHouse
Nested on the cliffs of Sifnos Island with breath-taking sea views, this summerhouse is a true ambassador of the slow living experience.
Dressed up with the local brown and grey stones, achieving a traditional countryside Cycladic shelter look, our aim was to create indoor spaces full of light, serenity, and practicality.
Recessed storage units, built-in sofa cushions and outdoor kitchenettes enhance the traditional architecture of the house, while the wooden elements in minimal forms highlight the house’s contemporary version.
The outdoor areas are designed to be well enjoyed during the summer season. The top veranda hosts a large dining table close to the kitchen, while on the lower floor courtyard, amongst the organic herbs and olive trees, we placed a comfy lounge area with modular pouf cushions and a large sofa.
