In the land of olive groves, Messini, a summer house was designed to host guests craving for a laid-back experience close to nature. A year round destination, created as the perfect escape from a busy lifestyle.
A simplistic toned down approach and a cosy familiar feeling atmosphere have been our design objectives, while ensuring that all living areas serve a functional purpose.
Rich & bold texturized fabrics were used to naturally extend indoor to outdoor areas.
A horizontally installed pergola creates the necessary shade for a large exterior lounge and dining area.
A grand fireplace acts as a reference point of texture and form in the symmetry of the living room. Brassed metal and heavy cut stone surfaces are uniquely linked with soft upholstery and wooden cabinets.
